I’ve got good news. Moderate and occasional alcohol consumption over time can actually help your acne and skin health long term by improving your insulin metabolism. However, if you’re trying to improve your acne in the short term by altering your diet (which you should be doing if you want to really kick it) we recommend cutting it out of your diet for the beginning and slowly working it back in after your acne has improved. It will be a short-term hit, but a long term gain.
